This was a special customer for us, not because of the Pet that she owns, but for the "timing" at which the order came in: In
early August '07, we, for the first (and only) time, were behind approximately 15 orders when Diane (in the photo above) had
ordered a unit herself. We were in deep doo-doo at the time (understaffed) and, for all intense purposes, had to either put
customers on eternal hold, or start refunding their purchases. Our frustration got to the point where we were even entertaining
the idea of closing shop altogether... In the end, 5 orders were 100% refunded.
This order (One of the 5 refunded orders), however, came back. Diane needed a shelter for her pet pig (and we were ready to
take a 4 week vacation...). But we got 'er done.
This is one customer I wish you could meet. Very nice (and patient) gal..
The Pig's name is: Phillipe. We now know that some pigs have difficulty staying warm during the winter months and, in some
cases, stairs can be too big of an obstacle to use when entering a room. So why not by a heated, insulated hut to overcome this
issue?
Because this was the first house we had built for a Pig, we waned photos of the unit once it was delivered.
Diane's message with the photo (s):
"Dear Jim,
Here is the pictures I promised you of myself, my daughter, and the pig in his new house.
As the weather is getting colder and colder every day in New York the house is even more appreciated.

Speedy was a dog that was kept in our customers
house during the nights and weekends. The problem
was that the dog liked to bark and bark and bark. This
customer called us when we just so happened to have
an extra unit in stock. This particular unit was made with
a trap door to lock the Dog Inside during the night time
and, being that the Dog was locked inside the Dog
House our customer had laminate installed in the unit to
mitigate internal damage and AC was installed.
The email we got from this customer:

"I apologize for not sending pics earlier & the poor quality of these- I’ll send more. The dog house has changed our lives.
Speedy is a different dog now that he is free to go in and out of his own home. He has lost weight, howls less, skin infections
have cleared up. Thank you for the beautiful doghouse- I totally appreciate the work that went into it".
Speedy is out there and LOVING it.

This unit was enormous and relatively decked out. Inside this insulated unit was a loft (fully insulated). It had 3 windows,
heat, AC, Linoleum, Doggy Door, Two Human Access Panels, Internal/External Lights, etc. etc.. From what I understand, this
customer has a dog, but it was really built for their son, Logan (Picture Above). And arrived just in time for his party. This unit
took longer then expected to build, but it was worth it when everything is said and done.

The Customers Reaction: I have attached a photo of Logan - his first reaction and one in the house & the house this
evening...it is dark but after looking through all my party photos....there weren't any without tons of folks all around so...I will
send more (daylight shots) later. We also will send you more pictures after we add our personal touches....we've got a few
things we want to do to it.
