Not long ago, we had received a question from a customer in New York that was stated something like this: "What is the difference between your Product and your competitors product?" (Before we offer our philosophy to answering this question, please note that we are also in business. As stated below; Over 5 years in operation and, yet, no one has even came close to mentioning that they have NOT received their moneys worth from us. If you buy a unit from us, you ARE buying a unit that stands #1 in: 1) Quality 2) Durability 3) Aesthetics 4) Functionality and, of course, 5) Longevity. Dollar for Dollar, this is a very true statement). O.K...... Now the answer to the above question: I told the customer; Good, bad, or indifferent, we sell Hound Houses (vs. Dog Houses) we therefor have no competitors. Our units are unlike any other pet shelter sold on the market today. The "Standard Dog House" you regularly see are Pet Shelters with a price tag of $50.00 to $375.00. They are sold in mass quantities on the Internet, local hardware, pet, and home improvement stores; offer few amenities and have very little to offer. Think about it: At the low prices THEY ask (factoring in: The Sellers Profit Margin; Materials & Labor to Build; Shipping, Advertising Costs; Website Development and Design; Taxes; and other Overhead Costs; what is REALLY left over to contribute to the quality, size and "added luxuries" of the product you buy?? You can take only so many shortcuts before you start compromising these attributes. Our units are ALL hand made (from scratch) with the same materials that you find in your home (and pretty much any amenity you could want) and delivered completely assembled. ALTERNATE ARGUMENT: We have shopped the Dog House Market rather aggressively and have watched it very closely as of recent. Believe you, me, it hadn’t changed all that much over the past few years. We looked at 7 primary Dog House Characteristics: 1) Shelter Suitability 2) Aesthetics 3) Durability 4) Functionality 5) Dimensions 6) Value. 7) Where they are built. As mentioned earlier, a "Normal" Dog House might be less expensive, however, will, in almost every case, will prove to lack one, if not all, of the above stated criteria (Please visit our Compare, or 7 Reasons page for further clarification on this line item). We have yet to have a customer tell us that they DID NOT get their moneys worth from us. Over a five year tenure, this statistic is worth talking about further. Remember we build people houses for Pets. Our units offer all the comforts of home and are, in almost every case, much larger then what our competitors have to offer (In other words, their largest units would compare to our smallest units); offer more amenities then you can shake a stick at and are far more sturdier. Our hound houses will be the last Pet Shelter that you will ever "Need To Buy". We (and our "current" client base), feel that this is what sets us apart from the competition. "What you see is what you get - period!!" You would not believe the comments we have seen from people who went to our competitors site, ordered a unit, had it delivered in a box, assembled it with a hand full of screws (and staples) and truly felt they got taken advantage of. None of that stuff goes on here, we guaranty it. |
